I know weather and other research schedules may make it hard to complete this, but the cruise plan isn't definite and the equipment and I can stay at the eastern shore longer if we get delayed.

We have a fairly ambitious sampling plan that covers the nearshore zone of every VA barrier island, part of the southern tip of Assateague and a bit into the mouth of the C Bay. I have discussed this plan with Art and need to finalize plans as best as possible. The plan approximately works like this: take 2-3 samples along every 1 minute latitude line at 2 minute longitude spacings to a water depth of app. 30 ft. We plan to collect app. 150 samples total. Then go to South Hog, where I need about 1 hour to collect samples at both sites on Hog. I would like to request Tuesday, September 4th as a backup day if possible.
