| Comments: | Art, I don't need a boat trip, but I want to know if a map-grade GPS unit will be available on either Tuesday (4/12) or Wed or Thur next week. I just need a couple of hours to help tie-up loose ends to fix the grid line locations of a canopy survey I did in 1998 but for which Randy gps'd any of my critical traverse locations. I have a small handheld gps, but I don't trust the accuracy to better than 5-10m, and since the canopy survey is a 15m grid, getting roughly 1m accuracy would be great. Also, I need to just quickly walk the DOE field edge, and the field edge behind the lab... do we still need special TNC permission if we are entering the DOE field? Thanks, -Dave |
